Teaching Philosophy

 

As a K-6 teacher I strive to provide all my students with a positive supportive learning enviornment where all student needs are met.

 

My goals in teaching include providing students with opportunities to learn basic academic skills which enable them to grow into life long learners and successful, productive members of society.

A differentiated teaching and learning program which integrates all elements of the Quality Teaching Framework should allow all students to develop in all aspects of life and nuture a desire to explore the world around them and construct their own learning, deepening their understanding of the world around them.

 

Students are living in a 21st Century world and it is becoming more and more important that we as teachers guide our students in the use and responsibilities associated with these 21st Century tools.
